It's a Moorpark Area Park. The Canyon floor is sandy in spots. This trail is best suited for horses and hikers.

Mountain Bike conditions are best two days to two weeks after the last rainfall. The canyon floor is a good area for beginner hikers and mountain bikers that prefer minimal climbing.

Directions:  Map to Site

Option 1: Exit 118 Fwy at Princeton. North to Campus Park. Left and follow Campus Park into Rustic Canyon Golf Course. Park in dirt area near trail head after turning left just BEFORE paved golf course parking lot.

Option 2: Take State Highway 23 North out of Moorpark to Broadway. Turn right at Broadway, Trail head parking is available at end of Broadway.
